Earth Day Rocks (no, literally)
I decided to make these rocks instead of place cards for our Earth Day dinner. I thought I would share the idea since it is pretty cute and simple.
I used vinyl lettering but you could print on vellum and mod podge it on or just write it on with a Sharpie. I gathered rocks about the size of my fist that would stand up fairly high (not just lay flat).
As I was gathering the small ones I thought it would be fun to make a big one too! This one is about 10 inches long and 8 inches high.
After I gathered my rocks, I washed them and dried them. While they were wet the colors were brighter so I decided to mod podge them to keep the "wet" look. I mixed it with an equal part water so the mod podge wouldnt be too thick.
This is SOO easy!! Good Luck Super Mommies!
These are adorable!

ReplyDeleteLove these! It's a bit late, but I'm so going to do this right now!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. does it count as washing the rocks if it's been POURING outside :D
