Easter Banner

I put all of the St Patty's stuff away last night so we are On to Easter!
....which is sneaking up on us this year.

Easter Banner
I made this last year with the little chipboard kits from Michaels. I thought of it for Easter but then went a little crazy with the idea and made chipboard banners for Summer, 4th of July, Back to School, and Autumn....I will post those at a later date but if you see the chipboard kits, grab them because they dont last long.
The kits come 5 pieces for $1!  Easter has 6 letters though...so I just traced a flower onto a piece of chipboard that I had and cut it out with scissors.  Then I covered them all with coordinating papers, using mod podge.  Next,  I glued on white chipboard letters to spell EASTER and embellished them with ribbons, flowers, and jewels.  Lastly, I punched holes into the tops of them and tied them to a wide pink ribbon.

  1. I love all your banners! I think I'm becoming a banner-believer. It's such an easy way to decorate for a holiday! We hung our lucky banner up the day we moved into our house so we could get full use out of it before St. Patty's! And you'll be proud to hear that I actually made a green dinner for my family last night. You're definitely rubbing off on me!
